Yeah but not nearly as much to listeners. I don't think a name doesn't make a song or album bad.

To be honest, the only reason I ever listened to a Butthole Surfers song was because of their name.

An autumn for crippled children is the worst band name ever but they're the best band on earth

 

Uh you know bands like that do that so their names are googleable because like churches would never turn up results about the band

 

THE DEFTONES

 

I heard most of these songs while at work today. While I’m a fan of sampling, one of my least favorite things in music is having extremely uncreative interpolations

 

Aren’t they just Deftones? If not, then yeah that’s a great exception that I made for some reason, because I definitely did not sleep on them haha. They were also pretty big by the time I was a teen though

 

They're just deftones but I've heard people call them the deftones hence my joke post

 

Yeah when I think too hard about it, I'm neutral-to-dislike on most band names. But it doesn't bother me enough to think too hard about it. Haha

I love the name Bring Me The Horizon, but reeeeeeeeeally dislike that band

I was goin off in the wonder years thread the other day apparently it's unpopular to dislike the bands yellow card and the early November but I do not like either of those bands
