In the regular season they shot 36% from 3 which was worse than Toronto. In the playoffs thus far they've shot 46%. Im sure the lower sample size postseason number is more accurate though

I'm more drinking the anti-Raptors kool aid, Atlanta could've beat them probably and they got swept

  3. Toronto has also played pretty bad overall this post-season while Cleveland has swept both their opponents.

Okay but wins aren't only about 3pt % though... The cavaliers just have a far better team and everyone knows it.

  6. 37% v 36.2% from three

over 82 games that's barely even a difference.

People are underestimating the Raptors so much. They will hold their own against the Cavs.

I think people acknowledge they have weapons. They just aren't consistent. The fact that it took them 7 games to close out a hobbling Heat team shows that. At the level Cleveland is playing right now they'll be lucky if they can steal a game.

Meh never know. The fact that they have been ready and waiting for awhile is not necessarily a good thing. If the Raps can get JV back and Lowry and Derozan fully perform like they are capable of this series will be a lot closer than anyone thinks. Could go either way.

The Raptors won the season series against the Cavs and only finished one game back of them in the standings so never know. Thats why they play the games. Anything can happen.

  14. Pistons won the regular season against them too

Toronto was the second worst team (percentage-wise) at defending the three during the regular season. Atlanta was tied for fifth best (and number one overall defensive FG%). If the Cavs pass as well as they did during the last series, they could potentially be just as good in knocking them down.

That said, I think this is going to be a pretty competitive series. Toronto won 38 games at home this year (regular season and playoffs), including 2-0 against the Cavs. It's really hard to win in their building.

There's a lot of uncertainty with the Raptors, though. Valanciunas has to play and at a high level. I don't know if I see that happening. Lowry was great in the regular season against the Cavs, but that's a really small sample size. He did look great over the past few games, however. Which DeRozan will show up? They won't survive with him shooting 35.5%.

To even have a chance in this series, I think the Raptors need to split one of two in Cleveland and then win both at home. I'm not optimistic about that happening.

Cavs in 6. (And Warriors over OKC in 5.)

With Kyrie and K Love being so injury prone added to the amount of minutes Lebron has played the week off absolutely helps. See the Atl series after sweeping Detroit. Barring injury and at their best Raps can win 2. It is playoff basketball though. Anything is possible I suppose.

I dont understand intense bias like that, if I was a cavs fan id be in denial that they even have a chance to win a ring.

Lol I am I Cavs fan. I watch a lot of basketball. The way we're playing right now is the best we've played since Lebron came back. No one in the East can contend with that. Injuries, Warriors and maybe OKC are the only things that worry me at this point.

How many teams get swept in conference finals though? I remember the Spurs sweeping the Grizzlies a few years back but it definitely doesn't seem common.

Like, the Raptors won 56 games this year. I know they're in the East, and in the eye test they definitely aren't as good as Cleveland. I don't think they'll make it past six games tops but the series will have SOME competitive moments lol

I get that, it's just my preference. I could never go full on confident, makes losing so much more brutal too.

The Cavs took Anthony Bennett 1st overall. They will not misjudge Toronto basketball again.
