I texted my sister a Taylor gif when she turned 22

 

I did that to my brother Eric last year.

Both Anthony and Eric will be 23 this year (my mom and my step mom were pregnant around the same time.

Anthony was born 2/20 and Eric was born 06/22. I was a busy sister by the time I was 12.

Do you all do anything to celebrate your birthdays? When I was kid, I remember adults saying that they don't do anything for their birthdays. I always thought that was so sad and strange, but my birthday is coming up and this is the first year where I've been like "whatever."

 

Today is one of those work days where I cannot wait till it’s over so I don’t have to feel anxious lol

 

My birthday is in early May and the weather is typically just starting to get nice enough to have cookouts, so we usually have some family over for a cookout. That's about it!

 

I’m in a boring meeting ALL day. I feel you

I personally don't give a shit about my birthday. Once you're older than 21, there's really nothing to look forward to. And if you want to go out - or do something special, go out - or do something special anytime. Why wait for a birthday?

There's also nothing worse than the person who talks constantly about their 'birthday week' or 'birthday month' and this may sound mean but i always cringe when someone in their 20s or 30s sets up their own birthday party or birthday get together.

Get off my lawn.
