Racist

 

Not racist, i'm just not European. Tea wasn't crafted for me.

 

The farthest I've gone for a concert is Cleveland for Say Anything last month (about 6 hours). I went to St. Louis for TWY/Motion City which was like 5/5.5 hours. I've seen a handful of shows in Detroit, but that's been cus I'm already there for work.

I'm lucky that I don't really have to travel far to see everyone I want, since Chicago or Milwaukee gets hit on almost every tour and it's really easy for me to get to Milwaukee.

same for me. i'm lucky that i'm able to go to 20+ shows a year now that i live in chicagoland...whereas before when i was down in normal for grad school, it was a crapshoot where i'd get occasionally lucky with punk shows that passed through (i.e., i saw less than jake, tom from the menzingers, etc.) or I'd have to drive to st. louis or chicago, which is 2.5 hrs minimum.

i do miss living in the city a bit, but that's a random aside.

It’s way random. When I saw the hotelier in Seattle but this guy from wherever the colour revolt is from, I can’t remember. Anyway we were both from out of town so we were talking about our local music scenes back home. He mentioned Colour Revolt and I was like dude I love them, and I mentioned I was about to see Sean’s new band in a couple weeks. Turns out him and Sean were actually good pals. He told me to say hi to Sean. So Greater Pyrenees gets on stage and their about to start playing and I yell “hey I met your friend James he says hi!”... and Then Sean looked at me like “wait what?” Because were in freaking Canada haha. Then I say it again and he realizes I’m actually talking about his friend, gets this huge smile on his face, grabs the microphone and yells into the microphone “THIS GUY KNOWS MY FRIEND JAMES! GIVD HIM A HIP HIP HORRAY” hahah. Talked to him after the show and he gave me their record for cheap

 

Wowwww. But to answer your question, yes.

Sidenote; i don’t drink coffee or tea. I have no people.

Yea it's so nice truly. I don't know how people do it in way less populated states, like the Dakotas or wherever.
