im listening to it right now for the first time in YEARS and realizing its actually awesome hah. Like yeah there is some generic stuff, but yeah this record is so rad.

 

the window is one of my favorite thrice songs, such a dark straight ahead rock song.

so then the end of window goes into this slow 3/4 and then the band stays in 3 and the drums go to 4/4 and its freakin sweet as hell

 

In search of solid ground is so underrated in their discography

Wake up is probably the weakest track on this record but I still love how mysterious the verses sound, its like you're lurking around on a desert or something

Pretty sure the band never intended crowds to take their name literally. Smh

 

not really that bad news, he probably made some nice money

 

I didn't love it, but the songs they play from it are pretty good. I like Rut, Run For Cover, and the Man a lot.

Yeah man it’s sooo good. Hit me hard too. I thought Rosemund Pike was insanely good in it

 

Palmquist did such a great fucking job. Production is top notch on that record.
