Staring at the same puzzle for 30 mins you begin to question your own self worth.

 

I'm not one who usually likes to watch video games, but damn, I'm really enjoying the RLCS.

Got myself an SNES emulator and I'm hyped about it.

 

That reminds me, I broke my tradition of playing Terranigma at least once a year. There is no excuse.

 

I loved Inquistion, but can't recall who Cullen was. That's really sad to hear though I hope he's alright.

Happy to see some Gone Home love in here. Once I'm settled into my new place I'm going to finally get my gamersedition print framed

Easily one of my favorite games ever.

 

I'm at the beginning of Chapter III in FFXIII. I don't know yet if I like the idea of Paradigm Shifts to change what abilities are available and only being able to really control the party leader, but the Crystarium at least seems like it'll be much more streamlined and intuitive than Materia in VII and GF in VIII (the only other ones I've played).

Really like Lightning and Vanille so far. The male characters have yet to grow on me. So far, Hope is just the annoying kid and Sazh is just the annoying realist. I'm so used to the main male being the stoic one; Snow is so... leader-y and charismatic and, ugh, romantic. That cutscene with the fireworks was borderline cringe-y. I was like, what's this doing so early in my Final Fantasy game???

The story has definitely pulled me in, though, now that I'm kind of starting to get the gist of what l'Cie and everything are. I'm still getting used to the fact that everyone's voice-acted in a FF game. And I can move the camera! And everything is just so pretty.

 

It's probably the best looking game on PS3 imo. The Crystarium is great and I compulsively spend my CP after pretty much every battle.

Lightning is fantastic. I like Sazh plenty. Hope never stops being annoying.

 

Sazh is great, I only grew to hate Hope more and more throughout the game.

 

I'm with @xkhiemster on this one, disliked every male party member in XIII, they were all very "meh"

 

Lightning, Sazh, and Vanille/Fang's relationship (not so much the characters themselves) are the best part of the game. Sazh had one of the most genuine and enthralling moments in the game, a lot of the drama outside of that wasn't very engaging.

 

Sazh seems like someone I'll grow to like, yeah. Not sure about the other two. Sounds like no one likes Hope haha. At least Snow isn't annoying.

 

I got a PlayStation one as well since I can't run mine easily at the moment. I'll probably get a NES one at some point too. Gonna be busy for a while with some of these games though, haha.

 

I grew up on the NES. It was my only console from 1989 to 1999 (ages 3-13) haha, so It's #1 for me when it comes to emulators/roms :P

 

UC4 is going to be tough to top as GOTY

 

Um, I like Hope. The fact that he wants to kill Snow like the whole time for a misunderstanding is the best

 

I hate everyone in FFXIII tbh. Do not like those games even a little bit. Having a female lead was great tho.
