No, I think Battelfront 1 is actually where that nonsense started, because Battlefield 4 still had self spawning vehicles.

I can't wait for Halo 6 maybe to have actual big team battle modes that aren't dependant on shoddy user made maps with some fun vehicular action.

 

MW2 is so much fun, the game being unbalanced a lot of the time made it the most frustrating/entertaining of all the CoD titles

This is getting nerdy but one thing I don't like about Halo is the "feedback", I feel like getting shot or even shooting someone just doesn't feel quite as... tactile... as I want it to be. It's one of the reasons I always prefered Battlefield. I also like loadouts, though I don't care as much about progression as most people do. Halo is still probably my second favorite FPS series (brand?), though I think the shooting in Destiny is better.

I loved the competitive multiplayer in Destiny, even though it was barebones. I just got so tired of engaging with the game around it (though it was fine) in order to not fall behind that I decided not to get 2, but damn that shooting is great. I want them to make a standalone competitive game. I'd even buy Destiny 2 in full if the competitive mode was seperated from the main game completely.

I'm don't play a lot of fighting games, and I'm still pretty new at this one, but it's a lot of fun and, as a fan of the show, it is beautiful to look at. I could see myself putting in the time to get good.

Are the controls relatively simple?

 

Yeah, auto-combos with X Y and B(on Xbox), if you can fire a hadoken you can do all the specials and super moves here.

 

yes but I recommend buying the season ticket just because the grind is so bad on the free version.

 

also since this is the praise AC Origins thread, I saw yesterday on the subreddit that a new game plus mode is currently being worked on.

so now even more time to talk about it.

 

I don't know what a new game+ mode would accomplish to be honest, unless you're not planning on getting the DLC.

Like don't get me wrong it was a total hoot the first time around, but doing it one more time would feel like quite a chore to me, especially if the level requirements are adjusted in a way were you have to re-do a lot of the side content too.

 

I got Battlegrounds this weekend and played with a squad of friends for like 5 hours Sat night.

Didnt get a single kill the whole time lol. Its fun tho.
