    Great Googly Moogly Supporter

i will also say, back to the womens rumble, seeing all the 'legends' come back, it kinda made me want to see more of them comeback. A lot of them looked like they were in GREAT shape and it'd be awesome to see some of them get to work with actual good workers for once in their career.

I love that Mickie got to have a run with real women wrestling once in her career id like to see more women get that shot.

That’s exactly what I said one page ago, it makes sense if you paid attention to the end of the show..

    man, I'm pretty Prestigious

It's a little different because the way the women are set-up, there isn't really much to rise through. There are the girls with the titles and then there's everybody else. You're basically restating what I said though, you know Styles can work + adapt to the WWE style and you assume that she can't. The point that I was trying to make is to show how dumb it is to try and police who "deserves" a spot and who doesn't, especially when someone has been on TV for two minutes.

I've definitely been one in the past to say that awful booking is awful booking and I don't have to wait for it to play out because you know it when you see it. Usually in response to bones or domo or somebody else, but this is totally different. She hasn't been booked in anything yet. Hell she hasn't even said ONE WORD! How could you possibly know whose spot she's going to take, much less how she'll be utilized. It's been 3 hours and there's already conflicting reports about plans for her.

Sure, you can dislike it. Me typing up a bunch of paragraphs probably isn't gonna change your opinion. But you called it "a gigantic awful atrocious wet fart to end that ppv." And multiple people liked that. If that isn't the tiring, ultimate cynical wrestling fan overreaction, I don't know what is.

Because you could be wrong and she could be great. She might be Angle or she might be Goldberg, who knows.

She's been at the PC for months, and training for even longer than that. I also didn't know that not only was the Mania card set, but that's she's definitely taking a spot away from one of the other girls.

People are saying the craziest shit now. Like, since the show began we've gone from "I don't want to see her in the Rumble" to "Oh my god, she showed up post-match and pointed at the sign! Garbage!" to "Fucking awful, she's stealing Sasha's spot at Wrestlemania!"

Next it'll be like "She's the new Lesnar!" or "She's breaking Asuka's streak at WM" or I don't fucking know. You guys make my head hurt sometimes.

I know I'm biased but that Bellas shit seriously dragged down what was otherwise a very entertaining Royal Rumble. Like not only did it somehow make the climax boring, but it sapped all the energy from Asuka's moment.

    MVP was definitely Sasha though.

    -Threw Bayley out
    -Stood up to Asuka
-Went toe to toe with Trish and tossed her

Hope she keeps that NXT turn going.

edit: All in all this was a good ppv (best Rumble since Edge won?) and I had fun with you guys. Even if I did get fucking Lana.

You guys had your own little Rumble after I went to bed. Cute!

    For the record...

I hoped Rousey didn’t show up because you all talked about it as a guarantee from the second the women’s Rumble was announced, and I like when nerds are disappointed.

I didn’t like the end cause it took away from Asuka’a win and I don’t personally give a shit about her. I also don’t give a shit about Matt Hardy but a lot of you do and that’s fine too.

I’m sure it’ll be explained away as Shane or Angle signed her but Steph trying to convince us she was shocked was also stupid.

I’m not saying she can’t work or she’s taking someone’s spot. I don’t know that. If she’s all in, good for her. I don’t think someone who was humiliated in her last 2 performances is some huge deal. I also completely understand why she’s being sold as a big deal.

This was my favorite Rumble PPV since 2010 probably.

  12. Can someone explain to me the hype regarding Asuka. She does nothing for me.

Her NXT run was untouchable. By the time she left, she was arguably the biggest star on the brand and made the Women's title the most prestigious on the show. She hasn't been wonderful on the main roster, but I also don't think she's been given the spot to shine yet.

Vickie Guerrero being in the rumble was honestly one of the top highlights of the night. Definitely did not expect her and loved her spot

Totally agree. When they did the former GMs on Raw I expected her then, and when she wasn't there it definitely never crossed my mind that she'd show up for the Rumble. Love her.

Tbh I wouldn't be opposed to have Vickie come back at this point, she does get some good reactions and it's always fun to boo her haha

  19. So when does Ronda show back up on TV ?

Tonight or tomorrow night depending on which brand she's on

Nah she definitely has to be on tonight in some capacity, can't not follow up on that hype only to show her on Tuesday

I have so many thoughts I still need to pull together, but this has been such a phenomenal weekend of shows for WWE. After the disaster that was Raw25, they really pulled it together. Gotta give credit where its due. WWE's got me hyped again
