A couple of years ago at a UFC event in Toronto, a fighter named Charlie Brenneman walked out to that song. Very first walkout of the night.

    We couldn't believe it.

What would be your walk out music?

I've always thought about this, and I'm not too sure. Something upbeat, something with an edge.

    What about you?

This is something I think about way more than I should but I have a running list I would either rotate through fights or trim down from. Definitely something heavy that makes me want to destroy things. In no order:
Parkway Drive - Romance Is Dead
    Pantera - Domination
Comeback Kid - Do Yourself A Favor or Should Know Better
    From Ashes Rise - Reaction
Children of Bodom - I forget the song name but it has this horror movie vibe with this sick keyboard breakdown, but it's a thrash song.

My two wtf songs would be either John Parr's St. Elmo's Fire or Dan Henig's acoustic cover of Get Low.

Those are great choices. I've considered a couple of Parkway and Comeback Kid songs myself. I think heavy is the right way to go before fighting someone lol

There were a few others on my list that I can't remember right now on mobile. There's a list on my laptop. I think I had a self titled Pro-Pain song on there as well. The walk out song is everything haha

Haha for real. It's always a shame how many fighters walk out to just utterly terrible music, or the same things you've heard a billion times before. I would certainly go with something lesser known, something memorable, and a song that would get me pumped up.

Exactly! I want something that hits hard and when people hear it they think, ok this is a hardcore dude who doesn't give a shit and is ready to go down swinging. Hell I would even come out wearing those hunting ghillie suits or something. Just some total I don't know what the fuck this dude is about type of stuff.

I personally love In with the Out Crowd. Up there with Hello Rockview and Anthem for me.

As for "walking out music", my favorite band did Chris Benoit's theme, but retired it from their setlist after the whole murder-suicide.

Rogers comments on In With the Out Crowd echo my own sentiments. Some really solid songs on there, but the sound of the record just doesn't jive with me. But man I love GNV FLA and both Roger and Vinnie ranked it low on their respective lists.

Blasting In With the Out Crowd while I watch some Lacrosse. I wish I had a legit recording of it when it came out.

In With the Out Crowd is about 50/50. P.S. Shock The World is a great closer, Overrated is a banger, and there's some really good pop-punk on there (Landmines and Landslides, Soundtrack of My Life)... but it's really obvious there were fights during the production. It doesn't sound very cohesive (partly because the horn section just disappear for two-thirds of the album), and the filler is pretty painful.

I was not the biggest fan of IWTOC when it came out, mostly because I was still in my blaring horns ska phase - but a year or two later (and excuse the cliche) that album got me through a really tough time. A few of the songs just had me feeling, holy shit this is exactly what I am feeling right now. So regardless where it is ranked on the all-time lists, it will always be a special album for me.

I pretty much enjoy all of the songs to some degree. PS and Maybe Memories are my least favorites. From a ranking standpoint, it is probably around my sixth favorite album of theirs.

Gonna just reiterate that IWTOC is my #1 album of theirs and every song is gold.
