I would definitely be down for a Damnesia II. They do acoustic/stripped down versions of their songs so damn well.

The Matt / Mike stuff is strange to hear, especially given Dan and Mike did a solo split release together after Mike had left Trio.

Blink-182 to Launch Las Vegas Residency

 

They're weekend shows over four months. Doesn't prevent Matt from doing anything Trio-related. He'll be able to fly private to/from those gigs from wherever he's doing Trio.

 

They could technically tour in the July-September time frame!

 

Very true, although Travis said that blink was headed back in the studio soon so if that's the case I don't see how that leaves any time for Matt to do Trio stuff.

Honestly, I kind of feel like if Trio doesn't go into the studio this year they won't until Matt is done with blink. They have had time do something since blink stopped their tour run in September. If blink starts recording a new album that probably means Matt is locked up with blink for another 2 years. The whole situation is kind of strange, really wish we would hear something from the Trio camp.

 

There probably will never be new alkaline trio material.

 

Well yeah in theory, this doesn't make things any easier though

 

Yeah I'm really starting to think this too unless it's like a 4 song EP or something like that, I don't see them ever putting out a full album with a tour. Being in blink is a full time gig and if the band is really going to go back on a 2 year album cycle along with massive US and Euro/World tours it really leaves no time to be in another band full time.
