I don't think any of these three hold up against JT's biggest hits, but I still really enjoy them all and cannot wait to hear them in the context of the album

 

These are just all over the map. directionless/rudderless. He’s obviously talented, he’s proven that in the past. But here I feel like he has no idea what he he’s doing or what he wants to do. On top of that the songs just aren’t......good.

 

Honestly surprised that the reception to Say Something isn't stronger. I love it more each time I hear it. It's exactly what I would've hoped for from a JT/Chris Stapleton collab.

The first two were ehhh but Say Something is incredible

 

Say Something is genuinely incredible.
Supplies is a good song. Nothing all that special, but I think it's fun and I really like the bridge and some parts of the song.
Filthy I also think is incredible, but I guess I get why not everyone completely loves it.

It seems like a trend for everyone this year. People are too cynical these days, it's more cool to not like things than to like things.

 

I noticed it last year too. Some artists released albums that were... 6-7/10 but because they previously released 9s or 10s people acted like the albums were 1s

 

I feel like everyone is just acting like he sucks now and has always sucked

Ever since I saw that video of Tyler and Justin listening to Supplies I've realized it's kind of a banger

 

New song is good, but I like Filthy more. I've only heard Supplies once, when I watched the video. All I could think was how much more I would like the song without the video.

 

yeah the pitchfork track reviews are so whack to me, at least he’s trying something new? filthy is a pretty out there song for such a huge artist. supplies is new ground for him. and say something is just a very well put together song.

then they’ll give migos so much praise for doing the same thing over and over ¿
