Yeah, I did that on my own. You could tell there's an opening in the wall, plus you're told to find one underneath the sand.

 

the race ones were awesome, but only AFTER you master the jump-dive-jump routine. until then, they will seem impossible

 

Don’t forget:
Triple jump + dive + jump
Backward somersault + dive + jump

Very good moves in races

 

Races are fun/easy

Except in the snow kingdom

 

I think there's an easy trick for each. I had a hard time with some but that one was simple for me, figured out my trajectory and went straight for the log that you pull out and gives you a whirlwind to ride up straight to the goal

 

Oh no that was easy, I meant the bound bowl ones

 

Oh, I assumed they were talking about the koopa races exclusively. Those were frustrating first run but I got em pretty easy second playthrough

 

What do you unlock if you do get all the moons?

 

not much, honestly... you do your final battle with bowser again, a little bit tougher. And you see a postcard at the end of the credits

 

Hahaha damn.

 

Playing this game a few beers deep, making great strides

 

Just bought this this morning and have been playing all day holy crap what a ton of fun this is.

 

How’s everyone enjoying balloon run?

 

We should be looking for each other's balloons.

 

So, I already collected all of the moons in the game. Have they been releasing new moons I need to go back and get, or are the hints and everything related to pre-existing moons.

 

I'm not into video games like I used to be; pretty sure I haven't played my 360 in over a year.

But this game just looks too good.

Are the joycons that come with the switch sufficient or should I get the pro controller as well? Is playing it handheld as fun as playing it docked?

I don't know if I'll drop the cash on it, but I'm very interested.

 

I don’t think you need the pro controller.

 

Yeah, joycons are fine here and in most single player games.

But if you play on TV a lot, and have extra cash to spare I'd say go for a pro controller. One of my favorite purchases for Switch for sure.

 

I’m getting this sometime this week for my birthday from my parents and can’t wait to dig into it!

 

Haven’t played this since it came out basically but I’m going through some personal shit and I think I’m gonna run through it again. Hopefully it sucks me in as much as it did the last time because I desperately need a distraction.

 

Just bought and wrapped up story mode this week. It's been a great distraction and now onto Zelda!
