I am having a shit Thursday

Product malfunction on site basically just guaranteed I lost a big account, I got what I hope is a fake call claiming a lawsuit from Canada Revenue Agency, and then subsequently had what I would honestly say was my first suicidal thought

I don't say that to get attention and certainly know who to talk to if it persists, but that is one seriously frightening feeling out of nowhere

 

yeah I only had noosa once because it was free and it was good, but gelatin is pretty gross to me just thinking about haha so I avoid that.

I'll try trader joes if I ever go there.

I doubt the phone call was legit, that's not really a proper way to notify someone of a lawsuit and typically CRA (or the IRS) would send you a letter first. But you can check for yourself: Protect yourself against fraud - Canada.ca

Re: CRA, I think you're correct, I did some research and it was definitely an automated phone call which would not be procedure, so I've calmed down a bit on that. Appreciate it.

Re: bad thoughts - I am not the kind of person to self-harm or have those thoughts, I just had this vague but immediate thought of "it's time to die. it's time for it to be over", and it shook me for a bit. I have some close friends who struggle with mental illness and I'd like to think I offer pragmatic advice, but that sudden emotion just hit me like a brick wall. People who suffer through these feelings regularly are a lot tougher than I'd realized and I hope I can empathize better in the future, because that was gut-wrenching.

 

@littlejohn Night Verses released a 3 song EP recently. They are an instrumental band now. I haven't listened to it yet. Just thought I would let you know. Did you listen to the rest of their stuff yet?
