COD games are basically a checklist of stuff I don't like about games. First person, competitive shooter, modern warfare. Never played GTA until V, but V is one of my favorite games of all time.

 

Couldn't agree more about COD haha! Definitely a single player guy myself.

Yeah I don't necessarily mind the GTA style as I've played Red Dead Redemption and Bully, just not interested in the GTA setting for some reason.

 

GTA V is one of those games I come back to every few months because I love it so much. I really only played single player, too. Never really got into online because the loading times early on were annoying.

 

What games do you like? My top 20 games of all time are legit like 50% Zelda and Final Fantasy, so I'm curious what a list would look like without those haha

 

That would be awesome! I feel like I could talk or write for hours about FF.

FFX will always be such a special game for me. It was the first game that really gripped me with an emotional story. It was my first FF as well.

 

Been working on a Resident Evil essay, or at least started working on one. Basically, the RE Facebook page posted this video of some British dude kissing RE 6's and Capcom's ass about how "awesome" it is. As a fan who's been playing the games for about 17 years now and truly love it, I was irritated by that. RE 6 was trash, a polished bad game. It got me thinking as to how it got to that point so using my knowledge of the series, I've been working a piece about it and whether or not the series is dead or still alive. Got a bad case of writer's block though, I'll have to work on it later.

 

Maybe I'll pick up OOT again this weekend. Never finished it

 

Mine would consist of Ratchet & Clank, Batman: Arkham games, Gone Home, Portal, Until Dawn

 

They went in the right direction with the Remake at least. But 6 is so awful. They can't find the perfect balance of action with horror like 4. 5 was rough too honesty

 

Do any before RE5 have co-op? I've only played 5 and 6 co-op with a friend and had a blast with them.

Edit: I am also admittedly a super easy critic.

 

I never liked how they basically made the game in a way that basically forces you to play with another person. You can totally play it by yourself but I find it to be a total slog of a game to get through that way.

Bully is one of the greatest games ever.

N64 is set up in my living room and I've had the game since I was like 11. I've never been good at finishing things.

 

I'm mourning Disney Infinity over here. It's my daughters gateway into video games and we've been enjoying it a lot together for the last month or so since we bought it.

 

I've been thinking of getting it for my daughter. What does it being "cancelled" mean for all the people that have the game?

I just got back into the online portion of GTA V recently. My mates and I generally just do a bunch of Last Team Standing missions together because they're ridiculously fun. BMX vs Zentornos is the latest addiction.

 

Not to be a downer but the games I mentioned a couple pages back, I consider Disney interactive classics. I wish they'd re release them. It's a shame kids can't experience them now.

 

Yall, I have ocarina of time and majoras mask for 3ds.barely started the first, haven't started the second. I want to go through my FF games first. I'll get to them eventually haha

 

I haven't finished Majora yet either actually, it feels so hard

 

Tbh I've never been nearly as enraptured by a Zelda game as I have been with every FF I've played. I like them, just... but as much as others do.

But I will probably pick up my save file sometime this weekend since I need to save money and have no obligations!
