I need a Wind Waker release on Switch. Didn't own a Wii U so missed out on the remaster

 

Dying in Darker Side so many times got me 9999 coins.

 

has anyone played that Snipperclips game? Looks like it'd be super fun with a group of friends but also incredibly frustrating

 

I tried playing with my wife. It was way too frustrating haha

 

yeah, especially if they're not regular gamers.

 

It's a good time with a solid group. It was most enjoyable when I played with a only handful of friends and we could really dedicate some time, some of the later puzzles can get really frustrating if you have to explain the mechanics over again and over again.

edit: the basketball and hockey mini games are a riot.

 

Snipperclips rocks and my girlfriend likes it which is rare

Dude you need to get it. On paper the idea didn’t appeal to me that much but it’s soooo addicting. You’ll get hooked on the turf wars (where you try to paint as much area as possible), but you’ll keep coming back for the other modes. Trust me, you’ll love this game

 

My only other friend irl with a Switch convinced me to get it after I was on the fence for months and it's the best decision I've made since buying the console. Endlessly replayable with a surprising amount of depth across all the modes with tons of weapons and abilities/customization. The movement feels incredible, very fluid and the transition from swimming to running is really satisfying and allows for some pretty cool maneuvers. It's Nintendo in a nutshell: bright colors, a ton of fun, impeccable design, delightfully weird and it's only as hard as you want it to be. I've probably sunk in thirty hours on Turf War alone just because I'm having so much fun, have barely scratched the surface with the different modes in Ranked and League.
Also, Nintendo somehow figured out an online game and matchmaking is quick and easy. Just do it!

 

I was really struggling with the Zelda dlc after not playing for a few months. I think this is the most I have died in this game

 

i miss playing splatoon

 

i can't wait for the week to end so I can finally binge Splatoon.

it has fashion, good music, bad puns, colorful (literally) maps, cool weapons, in-game fan art, Pearl and Marina, and the joy of being able to "swim" through walls and the floor. i don't know if you're a fan of shooter games, but even if you're not, i still recommend giving Splatoon a look.

the only problem i had with it is online, because you couldn't originally change gears in between matches so you end up exiting the lobby and finding another one. there was an update last year that fixed this.

and you get to fight over pointless things once a month, for example:

• Cake vs Ice Cream
• Rock vs Pop
• Mayonnaise vs Ketchup (Boo Mayonnaise for winning this one)
• Flight vs Invisibility
• Preferred Toilet Paper Orientation: Front Roll vs Back Roll
• Agility vs Endurance
• Vampires vs Werewolves (Splatoon doesn't have voice chat outside the Switch App, so no swear wolves)
• Warm vs Cold
• On Fried Food: With Lemon vs Without Lemon
• Sci-Fi vs Fantasy
• Film vs Book
• Preferred Winter Wear: Warm Inner Wear vs Warm Outer Wear
• Sweater vs Socks (That sounds like her!)
• Action vs Comedy

also there's a mobile app where you can shop for clothes using coins you earn in-game. i love that.

you can add gear slots or reroll gear abilities

i haven't done anything in a long time (since my internet got wonky a few months after buying splatoon) but I'm planning to use them on my favorite outfits
