Stuck In Evil Mode For 31 Days Prestigious

I’d place bets on either Lady Bird or The Shape of Water

I feel like the last two award shows are probably somewhat indicative of what'll happen at the oscars so that's not great, it really felt like three billboards won almost everything

Be kind; everyone is on their own journey.

I went through Columbus day with my kids, and why it's ridiculous that he's honored, never stepped foot on American soil etc...and you know what? They already knew that. 5th and 2nd grade, and their teachers BOTH went over this with them. I was really proud of the school, cause I was ready to get into it with my kids. Even did a little research before bringing it up.

Not a fan of the new Twitter trend where we defend those being deported/discriminated against based on their criminal record.

  14. Not sure it's a "defense" as much as a contrast in how two human beings were handled in very, very different ways.

I don't see a need to include the criminal record then.

I think there is a risk of looking like your saying those with no criminal record are "more worthy" but in that context it's being compared to a far right white guy to show the disparity between how groups are treated

  18. Ok? Pass on the information to Gabe? I really don't think he meant it like how you seem to be taking it though.

I understand how it's meant, just a personal distaste of mine. Nothing more.

In Baltimore, we used to have a Gun Task Force that wore plain clothes, whose function was to reduce violence. Instead, they raided homes without warrants, resold drugs they confiscated, stealing from people suspected of crimes and those that were not, along with claims fake overtime claims. Their tactics are all coming out now that they’re on trial.

  24. Speaking of Lucifer, so I had no idea that the lead singer of Boysetsfire, Nathan Gray, was a satanist. I like his new album and was listening to it last night, tweeted about it, and he responded. I was like, cool, I'll click that follow button and check out some tweets. I did not expect that. I dunno how I didn't know this, apparently it's well known and he talks about it all the time in interviews and old music projects and stuff. Somehow I just totally missed that and that's a weird thing to all of a sudden "discover."

Anyway, no real reason for sharing except I was like wtf.
