In terms of current roster, that was the bright spot. And Elias laying out Cena made him seem like a big deal.

Otherwise, WWE did a great job of showing why they arent making new stars; they all got to look like schmucks to boost the previous ones

 

The Club got a nice rub. And if you think about it, what happened with Elias is just payback for Christmas.

 

Hopefully that's a path forward too. Finn chasing the Universal and/or IC title while they are tag champs would be nice

But we're much closer to the time where The Club lost with pumpkins on their heads than when they were meaningful

thought the show was fine for what it was. It definitely could've used a little more 'woah' moments but whatcha gonna do. Everyone called the revival segment that's for sure haha.

I could totally see how the people who spent $$$$$$$$$$$ feel a tad jipped.

The 2sweet moment pretty solid though too. I thought the women 'gets' were very good too. Melina thumbs up.

And yes they could have tied in more stuff with the current storylines... ESPECIALLLY with the womens rumble coming up, i mean, i thought what a perfect opportunity to have (blank) announce herself for the rumble. I know they want to save some surprises but how about you give away one tonight, like Lita.

 

All that matters is that the Miz won! Haha

Pretty weak show though considering all the hype.

The whole two locations thing was weird.

 

Show was weak because all of the cameos were blink-and-you-miss-it backstage shots. This was the go-home show to a big 4 PPV so they were so many wasted shit-tier segments that they HAD to do to promote the ppv.

I'm talking about you women's tag, peep show, and final segment. Imagine if they get rid of those 3, also kill the weird titus/slater tag match, and now you have like an entire extra hour and a half of content. Give Bray/Matt another 10 minutes and end it in DQ, same with Finn & the Club.

Then get some actual interaction between all these legends and the main roster and give them some real character development. Literally the only time that happened tonight was Finn/DX and that was rushed as fuck.

And I didn't even touch on that nightmare 2 arena set-up. Yikes.

 

Super glad I didn’t end up buying tickets to manhattan center. I was skeptic of the whole two shows thing, and you would think they could have figured it out before selling tickets, or even figured it out in the months since tickets have been sold out. But nope. Also love how you nerds were so convinced it was gonna be a Roman parade but in the end he lost his title.

 

The use of JR was very bad. I can't believe they brought him back just to do that.

 

good thing they found a way to fit in titus worldwide v. slater/rhyno tho, phew

 

He gonna win the rumble tho

 

Every time I hear Roman’s theme I always have this stuck in my head.

 

the ending was the worst part...

Not exciting at all.

 

I think they know better than have Roman win the Rumble in Philly this time around.

 

The fact it was a go home show too.

 

Having him freed up opens up the possibility, which can actually add to the drama.

I mean, having him #30 last year was one of those all-time hilarious decisions...but, if you had no spoilers before, it was VERY believable that he'd win over Randy and Bray

 

I can't wait to yell "BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUN" at raw next week
