oh, I made cheeseburgers ala Matty Matheson and they were delicious.
arugula/kale mix and tomato on top, mayo & mustard dressing, on grilled onion buns.

I also sautéed an onion in the burger grease and that was an excellent addition.

 

Okay this was a massive hit at the party I brought it to, and my dad called it one of the best dips he's ever had. He's know for his food hyperbole, but it was still some nice praise. I can't recommend this enough.

Anyone know a good place to get escargot snails? It's my father-in-law's birthday soon and that's one of his favorite dishes so I was going to try and make it for him.

For me, winter is the time for cream soups. My favourites are mushroom and pumpkin soups.

 

I loathe soup. Always reminds me of being sick.

 

haha yeah I feel ya. I don't loathe it, but I also don't ever eat it unless I'm sick.

 

Same reason I don’t like grape flavoured anything. The medicine world has claimed it!!

I've been craving potato soup for weeks but every time I'm at the store I somehow forget to buy potatoes. Why am I like this Like last time I even wrote it on my list in all caps and circled it and put arrows pointing to it and I still forgot the damn potatoes!!

 

Set one of those creepy apple or google alerts, that is location based, to remind you to get potatoes the next time you go to the grocery store

 

I might have to do that bc apparently I'm hopeless lol I even bought stuff last time that's right next to the potatoes and still forgot them!!

Lol no, I'm just thinking about food. I've had stuff that was decent to really good, but I don't remember a recent "holy shit" moment. The closest thing was those mac n cheese burgers that my brother and I made.

 

Ohhhhh lol I thought you were saying you were blown away because you can't remember the last time you ate something haha. You should make that clam chowder recipe I posted above. Or this:

this is just frosted flakes with lucky charms marshmallows and it's the best

 

i’m the opposite and love everything grape flavored because I loved the taste of Dimetapp as a kid. so much so that I almost OD’d on it when I was 4.
now i just settle for Stewart’s grape soda when I get that urge.

 

the last time I was truly blown away was by this local Mexican place 3 foot burrito.

It was so glorious.

 

Did you accomplish eating the whole thing?
