I just 100%'d the game Sky Force Anniversary. Fun game and RIYL: Shoot m' Ups, 1942, bullet hell.
Graphics were pretty amazing and my only the complaint was the grind for stars at the end. Other than that it's a nice way to get into the genre.

i went like a year and a half without access to my PS4. i've been playing overwatch and horizon but what else did i miss, whether major or indie?

okay i bought doom because i googled pretty much the same question and after looking at the results i understand that that's a very silly question to ask about doom

 

Got some credit to use at a local game store - trying to decide between Call Of Duty: WWII or Assassin's Creed: Origins for PS4. I'm ill and gotta rest up with a bunch of time on my couch so, I can't decide whether I want a game to get stuck into for hours from a series I haven't played since Black Flag (and have some issues with) or get a game that I can delve back into online after hearing that it's the best in some time?

Pretty "casual gamer" so I know I may be asking advice between apples and oranges, but any thoughts are welcome.

 

Origins is the best thing since breath of the wild and a super inspired take on the AC formula.

 

Yeah I'm leaning this way because it seems like something I'll get lost in for hours.

 

Yes and if you get sick of that it’s not that hard to just mainline the whole thing

Both are great games so you can’t go wrong.

 

I love Origins but I'd rather play Mafia 3 overall if that helps lmao

 

I 100%d Rememoried last night. Really beautiful game that has very unique puzzles and an amazing soundtrack.
The game makes use of spatial awareness if you have some really good headphones and would be really great in VR.

My only complaint is it being so short and sometimes the controls can get a bit clunky.
