BEER SNOB ALERT

 

The songs immediately before and after are much better. But that one . . .

 

I'm so sad that when this record finishes I'm not even halfway through their discography.

 

I'm just saying, the ABV on those beers has creeped up over the past decade. Standard hoppy beers are commonly in the 7+% range (Sculpin is 7, Little Sumpin' Sumpin' is 7.5) and doubles/imperials are commonly in or near the double digits.

 

I mean, listen to this:

 

Just terrible.

 

Well whatever it's a double IPA that's all I know. I used to hate IPA's but Dominion City and Beyond the Pale 2 local craft breweries have really impressed me so now I'm much more receptive to the idea.

Have you tried any Collective Arts beers yet? They in Chi-town now.

I've never heard bubble toes.

I wouldn't really put this on to listen to for myself, but it sounds fine if I were to hear it on the radio or something.

If they're well-made, sure! Bell's HopSlam is 10% and usually enjoyable. Lagunitas' The Waldos' Special Ale is 11.5% and probably my favorite beer.

 

I think one of the worst parts about Nickelback is their music is just downright boring.

I checked out the pre-release tracks from this and enjoyed them enough to add it to my Apple Music library. Everything else so far is better than shooby dooby.

 

I def recommend checking out his first 3 records. Pink Strat is prob my fave but I quite like the other 2 as well.

 

I spoke too soon. This "Bad Boys Need Love Too" song is . . . not good.

I don’t know how it’s customary to drink regular beer in the US, let alone stronger ones haha. We usually drink it by the pint?
