Still standing by some combination of “The 1975” and “Intro/Set 3” being the perfect opener to album 3

Wonder if they play the EP in whole on the tour ?

Ive said this before but if they do another tour before the album release I’d love to see them open the set with “Sex”

Well you could say Robbers has been around for longer than 4 years. What year is that woods-y video f on?

What if The 1975 is the closer this time instead of the opener?

I'm actually excited that their catalog is growing to the point where they can legitimately leave great songs out of their live show. Part of that's because I've already experienced most of their older songs live but part of it's more aspiration for what this band can be and mean to people. Right now their live show is tightly calibrated as a pop performance with lighting and everything, but I'm really into the idea that 10-15 years from now they can switch the setlist up every night and become one of the world's great rock bands. Definitely think they have it in them. If they ever headline Glastonbury (which I think is on the table for them someday), I will 100% be there.

Definitely agreed, and on a similar note - this sounds spoiled - but I'm interested to see what they do visually with their live shows this time around. The last tour is one of the most stunning and incredible things I've seen and heard live. I'd go for the visuals alone on that tour, but they were obviously so rigid with their setlist ordering due to the stage set up and visual cues. This means that, at least in the UK where they seem to play bigger and longer shows, you end up knowing what's coming if you saw them a year prior. I know it's a tiny complaint but I'd like to see them do something just as innovative but with room to move?

I also guarantee Glasto is on the cards. Reading & Leeds first, then Glasto for sure.

It's crazy that I'm still listening to S/T at least 2 times a week.

Listened to the s/t last night....I will stand by the statement that "menswear" is the most pivotal and important song on that entire album in terms of sequencing

We just got a heavy snowstorm the other day, and last night it snowed a decent amount too, and it looks like it's here to stay. I wanna say I'm gonna start listening to these guys full discog a lot more because I love listening to this band in the winter, specifically after December, but they never really leave my regular rotation

I have a couple regular playlists completely dominated by them. Still heavily associate them with fond memories of a couple winters ago when I first really got into em

My fiancé and I listened to both albums last night driving to meet a photographer for our wedding (yes, traffic was that bad) and it ruled.

Writing and recording their new album due for release this year. No real campaign has started for it yet though, but it's coming and likely on June 1st with the potential of a new EP before that.
