ya that's gross. that stuff reminds me of early 2000s comedies. Like, I watched Dude Where's My Car a few months ago cuz my friend's housemates were watching it and the humor was just awful.

 

I used to love that movie, haha

 

Spencer's is such a terrible store. I haven't thought about one since high school.

 

My ankles are weak and I hate standing, and today I stood a lot and had my skinny jeans rolled up a bit and it totally cut off circulation to my ankles and they're all swollen and I'm whiny and dying

 

Hot Rod was basically always my favorite, I wonder how I'll view it 5-10 years from now.

 

Airplane! was my favorite and 5-10-how ever many years later it still is

Hot Rod still gets laughs out of me on re-watches even though it's utterly ridiculous humor.

You ever just get a random smell of something and it's just like a time portal to some event/period of life that you'd completely forgotten but now are reliving cuz somehow that smell is intensely associated with it. wut a trip.

 

I never saw that one. By the time it came out I was kind of over dumb comedies

I love the anecdote about Andy wanting the whole soundtrack to be Europe's The Final Countdown but the studio wouldn't let him.

 

I don't think I'd heard that before. Amazing.

 

Okay, this. Literally I do not see how people cannot find this movie hilarious. There are SO many golden scenes. Maybe it just speaks to my sense of humor perfectly or something idk.

 

I think I posted about it in the movie experiences thread but it's the only movie I can remember that had me literally out of my seat laughing.

 

For me, that was Jackass 2 and 3.

 

I remember in high school I'd want to go to Spencer's but certain parts you couldn't go in unless you were 18. Never saw what those parts were like because after I was 18 I never wanted to go to Spencer's.

 

I feel like I can't go to a Spencers as an adult.

 

Nooooooooooo my stepmom needs to update her payment info on Netflix so I can't use it! How will I fall asleep?? Silently like a normal person??

So the girl at the corner store put her head on me while talking to me about a customer. Granted, she was basically doing what said customer did to her but to be honest, I feel like there is something ulterior going on if she's going to get close to me and put her head on my shoulder. That or I'm looking way too into something that isn't there.

 

This is currently my favorite thing ever right now.
