because it's a fall out boy it'll immediately get radio play. and i think that song is the closest to an accessible megahit on there. there was still some rock music on the radio at that point

Headfirst is the best song of FAD with Coffee being a close second

I feel like it's the middle child of FOB's discography, but Infinity on High bangs

Jellyfish are such a great band. I heard them a few years back, and have been a fan since.
If anyone hasn't heard them here's a link to a great song by them.

The keyboardist/Singer in that band, Roger Joseph Manning Jr., has actually worked with a ton of bands in this scene. He worked with Jerry Finn and did keyboards on every Blink album except the last it seems, did stuff with The Format, Fun., JEW, The Mars Volta, and Paramore, to name a few. I always thought that was cool/interesting how I found this band, Jellyfish, that was really cool from the early 90's, and that one of its members was also a part of so many great modern records.

Anyways, yeah, Jellyfish are great if anyone wants to check em out.

  9. Thought about it a while back and I'd still have no qualms about calling (Coffee's For Closers) their best fucking song full stop.

  17. The electronic whistle that floats through "Hold Me Tight or Don't" and the sing-song verses of "Wilson (Expensive Mistakes)" both sound like the band are chasing trends that were beaten to death back in 2016.
omg all the way back in 2016!?

Hah, that review's not that bad actually. Surface level as expected, but yeah.

Threw FAD in my car and damn that's a good album. Agree that West Coast Smoker is one of their most underrated song. I used to not like it when the album came out.
I wonder if W.A.M.S. could have made a run at radio.

EDIT: I JUST realized that Justin Pierre is the person singing in the bridge of Chicago Is So Two Years Ago.

  20. Haha, this is funny.

The base sample in that one drives me nuts and I don’t care much for the chorus. I say this as someone who has seen the band live 12 times and would give my left arm for FOB, but if I have to pick a least favorite song, it’s Favorite Record. I also love Save Rock And Roll. Post-hiatus FOB is just as good as pre-hiatus for me, it’s just very, very different.

I'm not even sure I could pick a least favorite FOB song. Something from TTYG, surely.

Maybe Golden? The Mighty Fall? idk

    GOAT comment.

Yes. “Out In The Cold”. MTV heard it and wrote about it. Still waiting for this one to surface.

That run of Stay Frosty through Heaven's Gate is just otherworldly. Very comfortable calling this the best post-hiatus album
