Not when you’re trying to make people forget what you did on PS3

 

Mario Odyssey reignited the SM64 mod scene in ways that have to be seen to be believed. this person is porting the entirety of Banjo Kazooie to SM64 and replacing the baddies with Mario enemies, retaining the Mario physics.

 

This broke my brain.

 

i can't wait to play it, looks so smooth. speedruns will be bonkers

 

I bought Tacoma and Broken Age today on sale. Had some left over credit from holidays. Wife is gone from Thursday to Sunday and I'll be off Friday, so I intend on getting serious gaming in.

 

I know opinions are mixed on Broken Age but I love it. It's a real feel good game. I played it on iPad though for some reason, which was actually pretty cool. Don't be afraid to use a guide though when you get frustrated because it's definitely one of those games.

 

Anyone else just listen to this on repeat? Def my favorite piece of video game music since Transistor.

 

I know I'm known around these parts as a huge Persona 5 hater, but that soundtrack was incredible.

 

Persona 5 soundtrack is very hit and miss with me, each song has something incredible about it (or all of the song is incredible) but some songs have really really jarring parts that throw it all off

But it's still very very good (amazing in comparison to many video game soundtracks) and I listen to it all the time

 

Also the best of the heist-y songs (IMO) is way too short

 

Was the Pyre soundtrack any good? I hadn't heard anything about it (and admittedly haven't played yet).

This will always be perfection for me. Top to bottom, classic.

Yeah, I've heard mixed things. But I love point and click adventures and played some on PS4 a while back. Loved it. Sucker for Double Fine games. Will most likely load a guide up in case I get stuck, because these types of games have their way.

 

Double Fine is awesome, flaws and all

season 5 of smite starts tomorrow and I'm actually so hyped to finally get back into conquest.

 

Why does almost every JRPG get to the 2/3 mark and reveal that the boss you have been trying to defeat for the whole game is not your real enemy, but it is either someone you have never heard of or an ally?

 

Just played Fortnite Battle Royale for the first time. I understand why people like it, but it's not for me. It sucks because I love those kind of games. Exciting to watch on Twitch, though.

 

Looks like it also may spell the end of Paragon, since Epic has stated that they shifted a good chunk of resources to it instead of Paragon and now updates will become less frequent going forward. It’s not the sole blame though, the player count has gone down a lot so that ties into it too.

 

This is one the main reasons I hate JRPG stories.

 

I just finished the original Xenoblade Chronicles, and I loved the quests and the battles, but the story takes such a hard left turn when you have spent the entire game thinking one person and group is your enemy. JRPG stories are always silly, but this really had me rolling my eyes.

 

One of my most played albums that year. Transistor is incredible.

 

Oh man I’m the target market for those type of plot twists.

Unsurprisingly I am also a fan of M Night’s early and recent works.
