I think it was putting over the finisher actually, they kept zooming in to his eyes and look. But it also felt like he was gonna turn on the Club or something the way they lingered (which I dont think they'd do)...so you may be right that its also setting up his heel turn.

 

Wish they would use falcon arrow as an alternative finisher. He does that beautifully.

 

It actually makes me sad when Seth does the falcon arrow, and Sami does the blue thunder bomb and knowing neither move will get a three count.

 

nope us dumb wrestling fans can only handle one finisher per guy apparently so Falcon Arrow will be the 2 & 7/8 move for eternity -_-

remember a couple of years ago when Cesaro pinned Swagger off a bridged German? i popped so hard for that. wish we’d get more matches like that ended off anything but a finisher or roll up.

I cant see the #1 moment being anything other than Mick Foley winning the title. Its basically THE moment that won them the ratings feud.

I haven’t seen how the ending played out on tv but if they were lingering on Finns reaction it was definitely intentional. At one point he stands up and it looked like they were about to walk out of the ring and behind the cameras a ref ran out and was emphatically motioning for Finn to get back down on the mat

#1 was definitely. FIRST EPISODE EVER OF RAW DEBUTS. Some lame shit like that.

 

Didn't watch yet. Was Nia hurt hurt or kayfabe hurt or "stop the match I'm 'hurt' and don't wanna lose" hurt?

 

wish they had left off some of the recent stuff that was obviously thrown in there for a "hey what we do today still matters" pop. would've liked to have seen some older stuff that I'd forgotten about

it was somehow, mind-boggingly, barely top 10.

way too low:
-Shane buys WCW
-Tyson, HBK & Austin
-Foley winning the title
-Rock throwing the title/Austin off the bridge (should've made it)

way too high:
-Taker/HHH setting up WM27
-Shane coming back last year
-Lesnar returns
-Cena to Raw with the #1 pick
-Roman on Raw after beating Taker (wtf, why is this even here? lol)

 

that was one of the weirdest raws in quite some time. it felt like a brand thats very confused right now

 

Bret Hart 'frustrated isnt the god damn word for it" not on the top 25 list. I mean...i think Brets words say it best when describing my feelings for this list.

totally agree with all your 'way too highs'... the roman one on the top 10, i mean, lmao. Those last two and the taker/HHH might not even make my list at all honestly.

Yea the list of "stuff that should've made top 25" is long for me. But to easily replace those 5 I mentioned as way too high, I can immediately think of:

- Rock Concert (the original one, obviously)
- Rock throwing Austin/the title off the bridge
- Pillman's got a gun
- Shawn loses his smile
- Milk Truck

And nah, I think you're severely underrating Cena coming to Raw (first time ever) with the #1 pick in WWE's first draft. That was a big moment that always gets mentioned on all these lists. But putting it at 10 is laughable, drop it another 10 spots or so and I'd be okay with it.
