Has anyone tried out Gboard for iOS yet?

 

Well yeah, spotify's definitely worse. I use Apple Music, just wish it worked better

 

It's pretty fantastic. Instantly replaces two keyboards on my iPhone and is probably going to be my default.

Only complaints i've seen is the typical Google privacy thing. Their privacy policy clearly states they don't capture what you type unless you are searching, but people are going to think what they think.

 

I just installed it and so far it's really responsive and accurate, in regards to the glide feature. The Google Search integration is pretty cool if you want to paste anything immediately to a message.

The past couple of weeks I've really enjoyed using the Microsoft Word Flow keyboard. I'll definitely be keeping this one as a secondary for a while, seeing which one I like better.

 

I still have never seen any benefit in a third party keyboard.

The swipe feature has been the main thing I've been looking for in regards to a third party keyboard. I just really like it for one hand texting and makes sending messages pretty quick. I keep thinking with each major release, Apple will include something like that in the stock keyboard.

This is the first one I can use without complaint. Although it has crashed a few times.

 

Hahaha. I was skeptical at first, but the more I use it, the more I like it!

 

Gboard or Word Flow?

 

One of the many reasons I avoid them. They crash, never worked everywhere, are usually slow to load and pull up or flash on load and delay my typing, and they're almost all universally ugly. Half put logos in them and choose atrocious colors. Plus I can type fine one handed. Am doing it right now. Just my usage.

 

Same here - seems unnecessary

 

I use quick reply and Touch ID, and 3rd party keyboards don't work with the quick reply when you use Touch ID, so no thanks.

 

I love them for the swipe features, and gifs and the Google looks awesome even though you know it's Google

 

I must not have the coordination to use swipe properly, because I have never found it to be any easier or a time-saver.

 

Gboard. Word Flow is hot garbage.

 

Lol, you know with the Word flow keyboard, you could use something like this when it comes to logos and colors ...

Is there any easy way to get shipping tracking updates on your iPhone? I feel like there has to be since it always says track shipping code whenever I hold down on one in an email.

 

I really like it. Have a couple of cool Superman and Batman logo ones. Fun to mess around with!

 

That takes you to the appropriate website for the number. You could also use Deliveries or another tracking app.

Definitely switching to Gboard. I missed Glide so much.
