Seven AFC championship games in a row let’s go

 

Eagles are going to be dogs against next week. Early lines show PHI would be +4.5 against MIN and +2.5 against NO (I'd probably reverse those, FWIW).

At any rate, I am pretty impressed with the Eagles defense today due to the fact that the Falcons only points came off turnovers. The Jay Ajayi fumble still forced the Falcons to go down the field for the field goal so not so much that but the touchdown came after the muffed punt and the Falcons were gifted the ball at the PHI 18 (and also got a boo boo personal foul on the McLeod hit).

Eagles tried to give the game away tonight with FOUR fumbles and still won. They'll have to play better next week to win but I'm definitely rooting for the Vikings tomorrow. Much less nervous about Case Keenum coming into Philly than I would be Drew Brees (the MIN D kinda offsets that) so whatever.

The Pats are a team I simultaneously loathe and am thankful I got to witness

 

My first football memory is Bledsoe losing the Super Bowl to Favre. I know this dominance won’t last but I’m going to enjoy every second of it

 

I've posted this before but I laugh every time I see it.

 

I despise the Patriots, but if they play the Vikings in the SB I may have to root for them... fingers crossed it doesn’t come to that.

 

Now that the Falcons are out I really want a Patriots vs Vikings Super Bowl. Really wish the Falcons beat the Eagles tonight

 

I thought Patriots/Seahawks was my nightmare, but that would be so much worse. Ugh.

 

If the Pats end up losing I hope the Jags win it all

 

I don’t even know who I want at this point. Jags or Steelers, probably.

 

It’s funny how much I can’t stand New England fans but like the team still. I’d like the Eagles in the NFC if my cousin wasn’t so obnoxious about them. Really lucked out with Boston sports and Villanova

 

Steelers falcons would’ve been beautiful Jersey-wise. As long as the game looks good and the pats don’t win I’ll sleep well that night.

My dream scenario is Pats beating the Vikings in their own stadium. BB and Brady hugging on stage, lifting another trophy, maybe even throw up a middle finger to everyone who tried to break them up.
