i just want there to be a january transfer window where nobody signs anyone, a kind of strike because all the managers hate it, and jim white to wither like an unwatered flower

Ipswich are now sponsored by some dodgy online gambling website. What a time to be alive.

  3. I know it’ll never happen, but if City and United are calling Arsenal for Sanchez, do you think Levy has picked up the phone yet?

considering he won't pay anyone over 100k and sanchez has agreed terms of 250k w/ city, no

  5. Yeah, that's obviously an issue too. Just surprised to see Arsenal sell an elite player to a top 6 club.

Regarding Spurs wage structure. I believe that is about to change. Toby, Dele, Kane are all expected to sign new deals in the next month or two. All reported to receive over 100k with Kane getting 200k.

Barcelona have scored four in 19 minutes. Excellent.

I've always liked Daniel Sturridge, but surely £30million is pushing it for a player with his injury record?!

Shockingly it's been confirmed we are just being used in the negotiations of Sanchez to City. It's hilarious how often that happens every transfer window, even with a club with unlimited funds.

Derby day in Sheffield. Pretty sure we’re going to lose.

Would love a win to get one over on that arrogant tosser Wilder.

How was it never mentioned on TV while Rix was managing Portsmouth and Hearts that he's a convicted sex offender?

This will be so heartbreaking when he does join City :crylaugh:

Sky, BBC, Guardian, MEN, and every other news source under the English clouds are saying City are backing out of the deal for Sanchez. Someone briefed the media...

I hope he goes to United and wins nothing there too.

His attitude has totally soured him for me. Great, albeit slightly inconsistent, player with a terrible attitude.

Also, casual reminder Walcott scored 19 in 37 apps last season. He's still a good player, just not consistent enough for us and he clearly needs a change of scenery.

Sheffield derby finished 0-0. Wednesday played the last quarter with ten men. Possibly should have had another sent off.

Very stressful viewing but we applied ourselves well and the effort put it was a massive improvement on last time. A good draw. We had a massive chance to win it at the end but they had their fair share as well.

Optimistic about life under Luhukay. Think as more players come back we’ll start to climb the table.

Winter break is over and we won our first game 1-3 in Leverkusen. Good performance for the first game and it was also nice that Bayer didn't park the bus and kept it an open game til the end.

It feels a little weird that the break was so short this year due to the World Cup, I am not completely in football mode yet.

Apparently Liverpool are signing Keita now for like €90m or something ridiculous.

Premier League clubs are ridiculous when it comes to transfer fees. I hope this system collapses pretty soon. It's gotten to a point where you cannot justify the prices that are paid at all.

We already signed him, we'd just be paying 15 million or so to get him in now.
