oh, haha. The monster collection in the first was too much for me. I really liked them at the beginning but then I just got overwhelmed by stuff and then ended up never going back after taking a break because I couldn't be bothered to figure everything out again. I haven't seen too much of the new battle system but I was hoping it was more focused on just the party members. I've seen the Pikmin like things but I was hoping they were just a small part of combat.

 

they just announced the 12 teams that are going to be in the smite pro league.

The second place team didn't even get a spot but the serious drama is a streamer got a spot for his start up organization.

The drama? He is also dating someone that works in the smite pro league. People are going "emoji face"

ITS ALL DRAMA.

 

Which is my point. A remaster is going to entice the people who ignored it to buy it? Maybe, Origins seemed to buy the franchise some good will

 

People ignored it because it came out the same week as Unity

 

well it was released alongside unity and the xb1/ps4 were still new as well. even if unity didn't launch badly, the coverage would have still focused more on it b/c new-gen, the setting of the game, etc.

 

Or it wasn't that good? Or franchise fatigue? Plenty still had a PS3 but not a 4 as Unity came out only a year after PS4 release.

 

How was Fatal Frame Wii U? That was one I thought seemed like a really cool usage of the system but I never actually got around to it

 

People actually back then said that it was really good. I haven't played it but that was the media narrative.

 

From what I heard: good for a Fatal Frame game, it's not exactly AAA but it's cool for what it is.

 

I'll chime in and just add that my best mate doesn't have current gen consoles, so only bought Rogue, but absolutely loved it. Talks about it all the time.

I'll probably pick up the remaster actually. Apparently James Cook is in it a fair bit, who is from my home town, so be good even just for that angle haha.

 

Yeah I think I'll finally play it with the remaster. Origins already had me wanting to dig out my ps3 for the first time in forever to finally give it a go.

 

Rouge is worth a playthrough for the story

 

I didn't really like Black Flag because there was so much ship combat and I think Rogue is about the same so I'll probably skip it but it's cool that they're doing it

I think I'm the one person who liked the ship experience

I'm probably wrong though but I don't chime into AC talk much since I'm not super familiar with the whole franchise

Yes playing Origins made me want to play Rogue

 

I was down with the ship stuff. I'm glad it's not a mainstay of the franchise but it worked when they used it.

 

Idk I'm on my 3rd/4th ship segment in Origins and I'm starting to get sick of it, it's very one-note and basic in this game.

 

I loved the ship elements in Black Flag

 

The shanties are the greatest thing in the AC franchise

 

I'd like to announce that I am taking a break from skyrim.

I got 50 achievements and completed everything in the main game besides Daedric Quests.

I am now taking a break to play mafia 3.

I do remember some outlets liking it but I didn't recall gamers themselves talking about it.

 

Why? It's like $450 lol.
