Yeah that story elements that were required were really well done and I can see them being emotionally impactful for sure.

The game in general was really well made, beautiful visuals, sprawling atmosphere, music was great, voice acting was great.

Really really cool experience.

 

There is some truly terrible box art out in the world.

 

A masterpiece and a very good game were busts. Yikes

 

Need Cyberpunk

 

Anyone been tuning into AGDQ this week? I've had it on in the background all week. Love it.

 

I unabashedly love Forsaken. I put so much damn time into that as a kid. I'm not sure I understood it, but I loved it.

 

that is all i ever do now.

it is the perfect background audio.

 

Bioshock wasn't for me either. Partly because I did not like the combat but mostly because too spooky for me.

 

I enjoyed the Bioshocks but didn't love them. 2 was easily the best one

 

Infinite was very, very pretty

 

BioShock and Infinite are both GOAT tier for me.
2 didn't have quite the impact even if objectively the gameplay is better.

 

I wish I had a dollar for every time I said this about a game

 

i love my spooky games. if only any of them spooked me!

Resident Evil 7 and Alien Isolation are the only two that have hit me like that in years. need to try Evil Within. Until Dawn was tense, too. Outlast was almost that for me but it's too easy to escape and reset the monster patterns.

Until Dawn made me jump more times that any horror film has lol

 

there's the game in development where you play as a blind person and you go through the house with like sonar

 

Outlast was great after a few beers with friends and no clue what the fuck the game was.

 

the spookiest game is trying to play smite with no trolls

if you backtrack enough the monsters reset and it took me out of it. my own fault for abusing it though

 

When I was a kid the blue slimes in the original Dragon Warrior for NES scared the living shit out of me. I remember watching my older brother playing and those slimes haunted me.

 

Same. I can rationalize it away, but I still don't get a kick out of the way being "scared" makes me feel in my belly, haha.

 

Smite season 5 is only going to have 6 teams in the NA and EU to make it more "competitive."

The second place team in the smite world championship had one of their players mention they didn't get accepted into the league. That's nuts.

HiRez did an open tryout for league spots by organizations so a bunch of big names are trying to get in but it's still nuts the second place team is out.
