    what a waste of wood

I've always rooted for Jacksonville against most teams because they employed Henne and Shoelace at the same time..

    Let's take a look at Vrabel's defense.

Vrabel had Watt, Mercilus, and Clowney all healthy at the start of the season. He did not play them in the same way Crennel played them, he'd use them as pass rushers, with Clowney OCCASIONALLY stretching the field for the run, and as a result we'd get constantly burned by the run. When we got burned by the run we'd have to overcompensate with our interior LBs and open up passing lanes.

Now this is where the crucial injury comes into play: Kevin Johnson's 2016 injury. Kevin Johnson is done for. His injury has ruined his coverage abilities and receivers can destroy him now. Since now we're biting on the run every play, QBs have an open guy wherever Kevin Johnson is lined up. Our CB3s are not performing well either, and Johnathan Joseph is having to carry the CBs as an over 30 year old. I had hopes that letting AJ Bouye go would not be a bad move because Kevin Johnson would be back 100%, but that clearly wasn't the case.

Watch footage from the beginning of the season and notice how quickly Watt manages to get through the line ... and how quickly he's on his back because he went straight for the QB as the RB skips by unscathed. That's bad coaching at play, that's trying to use our star power in a MUT setting instead of an actual NFL game setting. And watch how quickly that defense gives up (outside of Clowney) as the game goes on. It's embarrassing.

I did the same though haha. We lucked into Ramsey, though again, I had us taking him too haha. We didn't luck into Fournette though.

Can't wait until our defense is even worse next year with Vrabel at the helm

When you hit a mothafucka, you hit that mothafucka Prestigious

you thought for sure the Chargers or Cowboys would take Ramsey. I argued Cowboys would definitely take Elliott, and that Bosa & Jack were players the Chargers would be more distracted by since they were happy with Hayward and Verrett but needed work on their front 7. None of us predicted Myles Jack falling to round 2 of course.

I thought for awhile you were on the Jamal Adams train before switching to thinking we'd draft Fournette? And then there was awhile that we agreed we were targeting Fournette but disagreed on whether that was the right move.

I will say though that it could be different with the Lions. He could change his ways, analyze strengths and weaknesses of players and use them in an intelligent way instead of just blitzing star pass rushers since the Lions don't exactly have a Watt/Mercilus/Clowney corps. He could do better with a "quieter" defense and he could've learned a lot from BOB as far as head coaching (such as blocking schemes which BOB is good at despite our shit offensive lines) and utilizing talent. But what I do know is his resume so far doesn't show it yet.

I still had us taking Ramsey though. The Chargers and Cowboys should have taken Ramsey haha.

Nah, I was on the Fournette train once the NFL off-season began. Jamal Adams was eliminated as an option when we signed Church.

It's just wild to me that he's even being considered for a head coach position already. I don't see anything from him that shows he would be ready for that.
