Seeing these guys in Donnybrook Stadium in Dublin next June. They're doing two nights, it's almost like a mini-festival sort of vibe they're going for. Haven't announced line-up yet but I'm sure it'll be stacked af.

 

Yeah I think they're listed on their website. Saw Daughter open up a couple months ago in Pittsburgh. Last night was This Is The Kit. Both were really good. Aaron played the latter half of the set with This Is The Kit.

 

Anyone know what time they're normally getting on for this tour?

Saw them in Hamilton Sunday for their regular show, then yesterday at 4:15pm for a special benefit show in Buffalo. It was amazing. It was everyone minus the drummer, smaller venue than they would normally play, and adorable little Kids from a local string orchestra joined them for a song (About Today).

 

Fuck yeah. My favorite band, in our shared hometown, two nights in a row.

 

Probably gonna have to make the drive from Detroit for this one

That’s one hell of a line up.

I would love to see The National bring Big Thief out on tour some time. This has been on my mind since the venue started playing Big Thief right after the National’s set last month.

They played ‘Remain’ by Jay Som the two shows i went to, and i had the same thought. Had kind of hoped they’d bring her out to this festival, actually. My hometown!!

 

They mentioned Big Thief on KEXP when asked about their favorite album from 2017.

Makes sense. Huge for Big Thief. I would love to see these two together. My girlfriend and I are thinking about making the trip down for Homecoming.
