Oh man do those get better later on? because the first 2 were bland as hell.

I won't buy Cuphead because it'll just make me angry. I respect and admire it though.

 

I honestly don't think it will, especially if you're playing alone it's really not that hard.

Started Assassin’s Creed Origins over the weekend. My first AC game and it’s super fun so far. The combat did take a bit to get used to, but once I got a hang of it it’s been a blast

 

the way I would do it is just to do the boss on easy first, see what's up, then tackle him in the normal mode.

A cool thing about this rare achievement system is you get to see how many people bought the DLC because it usually pops a rare achievement once you beat the first 5 minutes or something. Both Witcher 3 and Mafia 3 were under 4%.

 

i don't remember which ones were in what sequence but there is one i really loved with a kind of toy world aesthetic to it

 

I'm terrible at anything that resembles bullet hell haha

 

that breaks my heart. I am not a huge Witcher fan but you can tell how much work they put into the DLC.

 

I love hearing that sound of a rare achievement, so satisfying

It is pretty sad, though it shows that DLC season passes and so on are an outdated model, yet everyone points at Witcher when they talk about how to do it lmao

 

the 2nd to last boss fight was my favorite level in the game and also the most frustrating

 

I'm still contemplating if I should buy a One X or not. Like, I like my PS4 Pro but it's so noisy and in some games you can tell the extra oomph would go a long way....

 

To be fair, you have to be a high level to even play the DLC

 

i wonder how many people buy GOTY editions of Witcher, etc on the cheap and never get to the DLC

 

It is pretty badass. My Pro made my One seem old and now my X made my Pro seem old.

honestly even in my very favorite games I rarely go back for the DLC. Even in Zelda I practically had to drag myself.

And the slow post-release content trickle is just an excuse to ship games with very little content (i.e. Titanfall 2, Overwatch) which you wear out pretty quickly and then they make you check in every month for more. idk. I think they should just ship complete games then move on.

 

That definitely happens, few people actually finish games like that I think
