An NA squad just won the Smite World Championship and everything is right in this world even if it has only been three years since the last NA win.

 

I just finished the A route on NieR and I don't know that I've ever been as excited to immediately replay a game at least two more times in a row.

I truly mean it when I say that you haven’t even approached the good part of the game yet. How I wish I could replay this for the first time.

 

Forgot to ask you, where is this prequel novel at all? Want to read it before diving in to the campaign

It's also on Audible, read by the actress that plays the lead in the game. It's a good audiobook, with sound effects.

I wish I could memory wipe and replay Nier:Automata again, because that first time experience with it was so unbelievable.

first game i beat this year: Cuphead. damn satisfying.

 

the percentage on an achievement is only encompassing of gamertags that have played said game, right? because if so, 94% of players failed to beat Cuphead lol

 

Ive only heard good things about this game and want it bad, but all I hear is how hard it is.

 

it's very hard, but it's all about learning patterns and boss tells, so there are no cheap deaths just a lot of patience

beating the devil took me about 3 or 4 hours total

 

yea I dont have patience for that lol

 

I just found Cuphead's gameplay so shallow that I didn't really care to play it any more than I already have. It's not even that hard it's just repetitive and simple.

how far did you get? because there are a bunch of weapon upgrades, super attacks, and equippable perks to unlock. it is of course going to be more simple in the first few levels

 

far enough to have tried a variety of those. I stopped on the island with the rollercoaster I believe.

also I much prefer the flying levels over the ones where you are on foot.

oh and the run'n'gun levels are just ugh haha

 

*shakes fist repeatedly* damn you cuphead run and gun

 

Cuphead looks gorgeous but it's definitely something that I'd break my TV with

i am probably the only person that loved the run 'n gun levels. i remember a lot of talk about them being "tacked on" due to not being a part of the initial vision, but the amount of care/detail/unique experiences of all them is on par with the boss fights.

 

That's how it works yes. You'd be surprised how many people don't finish most games though, haha.
