There are some great songs on Part 2, but it's such a mess that it's tough to get through a full listen.

futuresex is p obv the best jt album, though nothing really rivals the justified singles for me

 

Three possibilities in my head:
1) Chris Brown has a ton of anonymous writing credits. Very possible he has something on the JT album, even if it's not the single.
2) JT was a huge influence on his musical style coming up. He could just be excited as a fan.
3) Could be friends with JT or someone who worked on the song (Timbaland/Danja/Fauntleroy).

 

i mostly enjoy 20/20 part 1 but jeez sometimes jt is the worst lyricist on earth

 

I hate that I know this, but Danja HAS produced some of that shitbag's songs

 

20/20 1 is his crown jewel, don't know why so many people say it "doesn't hold up"

 

i am def less enamored with it now than i was at the time, hard to pinpoint why

“tunnel vision” is still 100 percent amazing

I still love "Blue Ocean Floor." Probably my favorite song of his.

 

as long as we can all agree that My Love is his best song unless we count Gone

FS/LS has a handful of songs that are better than anything on 20/20 part 1, but as a whole album I think 20/20 part 1 is his best.
