PKEW PKEW PKEW Band

Saw them opening for Pup in February and they were a blast. Not sure they're the kind of thing I would listen to every day but they put on a hell of a fun live show.

 

Just wanna say that I'm listening to these guys for the first time and really really liking it. Makes me want to get off work and drink a bunch of beer with my friends

 

This was a dumb post, I love this album and listen to it regularly.

 

Just found this band, they're so fun. Pop punk reduced to its most basic roots, very simplistic, and that's the charm of it.

Seeing this band headline tonight! Missing cymbals eat guitars for it which I know is a bad choice but eh this band is from Canada it's far less likely that they'll be around again.

 

I'm very excited for a new PKEW record. I need more beer drinking songs

Was thinking about this band specifically yesterday, I think they’re going to be hurt a lot by all of that going down. They don’t necessarily have enough hype for another label to pick them up right away, might be tough.

I wish that PUP, Rozwell Kid, Charly Bliss, PKEW tour would happen again. It didn’t come here but I did get a RK/CB show the day before the tour started and it was great

 

So I forgot this existed and never listened until @Danny brought it up and it's definitely still a fun listen even though they clearly tightened up their sound and got way better

 

I did not know that existed, cool!

 

They basically play at half the speed and the songs are double the length haha

 

In other news s1d posted yesterday that a new pressing of this (and Iron Chic) is available on their site. Whatever is happening with that label is so weird...
