I just showed my nephew Orphan - one of my favourites when I was a kid - and, man, what a great movie. Definitely one of my favourite horror films of the 2000s

 

Finally watched Creep last night. Duplass is just the best. Will probably watch Creep 2 tonight or tomorrow.

I liked Creep 2 ten times more. On a second watch I realized that if they didn’t have the opening scene, the movie could be seen as is and it would add a new element to the movie where you also don’t know if he’s actually a killer or not.

 

Creep 2 was great. I love direct sequels.

 

Happy Death Day was fun.

 

Stop what you're doing and watch It Stains the Sands Red on Shudder
I'm not even done with this movie yet and it's the best zombie flick I've seen in ages and yes I've seen Train to Busan

 

the main actor is also responsive on her twitter account if you want to tell her how awesome she is in this movie

I just saw that Raw is on Netflix. What were thoughts on it in this thread?

Raw was one of my fav movies last year. Foreign horror is some of the best horror.

 

Esteemed former user deadkidsean also told me it was his fav movie of last year so I need to watch it

My wife is away on business for a few days so I have been catching up on some movies that I have wanted to watch but she hasn't.

So far: The Void and Darling.
So far: my wife was right.

 

The Void was one of my bigger disappointments last year. So much promise, absolutely no execution.
