Dude, fatal four way was probably my favorite of the night, thought Cody/Kota was kinda lame, mostly because I'm not big on Cody

 

So after NY Dash, it looks like this is what's up next:

Naito/Jericho
Tanahashi/Suzuki (Yes please)
Omega/White
Takahashi/Ospreay
RPG3K/Bucks

still no clue who challenges Okada, looks like it might be Sanada

 

Really glad Jay White didn't join.

 

Same. I like that he's doing his own thing. This feud will definitely help Jay out more than the Tana one did. I definitely think he wins the US title at New Beginning, which potentially could set up Omega winning the NJ Cup and challenging/finally beating Okada for the title.

 

not all surprised that Jericho is continuing to work with NJPW but i'm very surprised he's jumping into his next angle so soon

 

his foreign fozzy tour begins Jan 28th. So he can work first day of New Beginning. Then he's got a 2 week break between tours that could correspond with Honor Rising.

Basically, if he was gonna work a new angle, it was now, or sometime in like, May

 

When Naito had his back turned and the crowd reacted, my assumption was Okada coming back out. Marked out a little when it turned out to be Jericho. Def a great way to go. No sense rushing right back into Naito/Okada just yet and it’s great to see Jericho jump right into another feud. Can’t wait for their eventual match.

 

I’m ready for the inevitable Cody vs Omega feud

 

Saw lot of people hating on Okada's pants, but personally, I dig them

Just finished the rest of the show. Honestly didn't love the hair match and the 4 way as much as others seemed to. I liked that the choke seemingly effected the entirety of the hair match, and thought they played it up really well, but I really thought Goto's comeback should have been bigger to get the win. He was basically dead throughout and ended up pulling it out. The 4 way got excited from Takahashi's comeback on, but everything before that didn't grab my attention all that much, and even after, while there was a lot of fun spots, there was like 6 different comebacks and it was all pretty exhausting. /SLADE

So after watching New Years Dash and Being The Elite, Kenny apparently told Cody to find a different opponent. Anyone know why Kenny is standing up for Ibushi?

New Beginning cards were all announced. Looks like Naito/Jericho won't be happening until the US NJPW show in March.

Also, Kawato is going on his excursion to Mexico this month. That dude is going to be so good.
