whoever I date also has to be able to fall asleep to the tv or some source of light. It causes a weird rift in my family because my dad and me and my sisters have to sleep with tv and my stepmom and her kids have to sleep in absolute quiet and darkness so taking overnight trips was always an ~ordeal. Sometimes people try to fake me out and turn off the tv as soon as they think I'm asleep, but I will legit wake from the grave as soon as I sense that TV go off and I won't be able to sleep all night

 

See I can totally deal because I have to. It was below 10 degrees all last week and winters here can get really cold and awful in general. But it's 100000% not my preference. It also gets like 105 degrees in summer and that's not my jam either tho. Early summer/fall weather = ideal.

 

I'm so happy I don't have to deal with the cold anymore, and I'm almost fluent in Fahrenheit/Celsius temperature conversion.

My girlfriend recently moved into her friends guest house and it gets so dark in there at night it weirds me out. Like I can hardly tell if my eyes are open or closed dark, its hard to sleep. So now we have a low light lamp on and its way better. Just enough to be able to tell I'm in a room and not in the void

For those of you who celebrate anniversaries like is there a clear official date that stands out (like a wedding) or did you go on dates and define the day u made it official as the anniversary or did you just pick a day??? I've never been an anniversary celebrator so I've always been curious.

 

i barely remember family members birthdays, let alone remember an anniversary. i will if/when i get married, but until then we generally just pick a time close to when we started dating.

I've always wondered that too. I'm guessing the other one gets dropped and u just do the wedding cause idk anyone who celebrated two? In media I've seen them celebrate the sex anniversary too and I'm just like ok no this is too many dates to keep straight.

 

I also just wanna say I LOVE Valentine's day and it is my second favorite holiday and I am that annoying person who will not tolerate any slander of this second most amazing day. I rly wanna get take out and watch cheesy movies with some friends but idk how down they will be cause they're all moody about their singledom instead of realizing that the day can be about celebrating any loved ones and doesn't have to be a mopey feel sry for urself time. Also it's annoying it's on a weekday.
