The NYE show tomorrow in Philly w/ Jeff & Kississipi might be the best way to bring in the new year ever

 

Place is going to be wrecked. Same venue as the twy show next month lol

 

Man I love this band.

 

Kississippi is real fuckin good, and I had NO idea Jeff was on this show until I walked in, which is amazing. Gonna be a g r e a t night

 

How was the cover set?

A Weakerthans song from L&L (with someone named Max I don’t know)

PUP was direct support in Worcester

I was blown away, the place was wild for PUP and then completely cleared out for Thursday. It was awesome for PUP but so sad for Thursday. By the time Thursday got to the encore the floor was nearly empty.

 

idk where to post this but jamie led PUP's PR campaign and a bunch of the well loved bands on S1D the last few years. truly doubt pup's next record will be on the label (though they probably outgrew it anyways)

 

Pretty shocking they let her go

 

she's a beloved figure in the scene and works with all of their most hyped bands, i can't imagine it was without a very misguided reason

 

With Jeff’s new album on Polyvinyl I wonder if there’s something larger going on

 

Yeah just seems out of nowhere. All of her PR work was great imo

 

I also could see PUP going to Polyvinyl

 

yeah i almost thought about that being related, though the timing doesn't seem quite right there since jeff must have had that planned for a bit.

i wouldn't be shocked if a bunch of bands that were going to put records on S1D don't anymore

 

another one too. lots of mad band people (even LJG got in on it))
