Has anyone heard anything about that Movements headliner?

    The Real Dirty Dan.

I've seen them three times. IMO, they're boring. Nothing about their show seems special to me. But, I can sit through it for the sake of being to a show on time.

I just listened to 2 Bad Omens songs and they were pretty good. I'm still waiting for them to yell "This is Sand Pit Turtle".

I gotta imagine we will get another The National Tour. Death Cab is coming out with an album this year, so we will probably see that too.

Seconded I already have my ticket. Eminem, The National, Queens Of The Stone Age, Royal Blood and Khalid are rumored as some of the acts

The headliner is supposedly 10x bigger than Tool so Eminem is a strong possibility. I was thinking System of a Down as well

Do they really card for 16+ shows? I bought my sister tickets to a show she wanted to see not noticing the age restriction, it's at a venue that literally always does all ages shows so I didn't think anything of it. She'll be two months short of 16 when the show comes so I'm hoping since it's not 21+ and she looks older than her age they won't really care

100% Depends on the venue. They'll usually give you a pass if they say they forgot their ID and they're with someone of age.

For the record: Most shows that have a 15+ or 16+ age restriction do so purely for liability reasons so they don't get sued if a kid gets hurt, as opposed to legal Curfew/Bar Hour restrictions.

It'd be unreasonable to expect all 16 year olds to have ID/Drivers License. Best thing to do is to call the venue and ask the policy on minors at age-restricted events.

If you’re of age, you can say you’re her guardian. Unless you’re not going to the show haha.

Chances are nobody will notice or care. As long as she's not trying to drink, everything should be fine. Webster Hall in NYC (rip) had a 16+ age restriction, but I've been going to shows there since I was 13 with no problems. Unless you look like a child, chances are you're fine. Especially if you're going with her and you're related, you're all good.

  16. At Irving Plaza in the city I know they don't card. All of their shows are 16+, and I'm 17. First time there was 16. Both times were with friends, not an adult and I look my age. I'd say you're fine. Also, I think the All Time Low show I saw at Central Park Summerstage was 16+ but there were some YOUNG kids there.

Thanks, those posts quelled my fears a bit. I am going to the show with her so I think it should be fine

And it's at the Fillmore in Maryland, a big corporate venue. Not sure if that matters
