I wanna keep the dream alive. Been a stupid difficult week, and as much as I'm enjoying new Radiohead and looking forward to Thrice, I want new Brand New to scream along to. TDAG and Daisy will have to do for now.

 

Same man. I need a hint or something about a release date, ANYTHING. Maybe Jason could tease something if he knows anything...

 

I had a dream that we got a new Brand New song today loaded automaticly while I was playing Brand New on Apple Music. Too good to be true didnt want to wake up.

 

I'm too excited for Goodness to come out at the end of the month to have the thought of a new BN album occupy my mind haha.

Just added a July 18th, 2009 show from The Troubador in West Hollywood, CA to the Archive. Solid recording, worth checking out I think.

Audience recording of a 18-song set that is Your Favorite Weapon heavy for this live era (5 songs) but overall very balanaced across the catalog. Goodies on the more rare side abound in the setlist in the form of "Jaws Theme Swimming" and "Flying at Tree Level," in addition to the very seldomly performed "Bed." Recording quality is solid with lots of crowd participation. Minor instances of sound dipping out on "The Shower Scene" and "You Won't Know." Good, clear interplay between Jesse and Vin. "Tommy Gun" sees Jesse screaming "alright!" several times before the second chorus, in addition to a fiery extended bridge. "Bed" features a peaceful jam on the end that goes into "Jaws Theme Swimming." The "You Won't Know" outtro is a quiet, extended version. Humorous crowd shuts down clapping at the beginning of "Jesus Christ." This is the show where Jesse remarked that the upcoming "Daisy" would be their last *physical* piece of music. Thanks to @davezucker for sending, and @jasonbordeaux for recording.

 

Then they released the Leaked Demos cassette. I'd be really bummed if their new album has no physical format.

Yeah I tried a few days ago... Not my thing. Is it really anybodies thing? Anyways I think the next thing after the Shone repress will be the Brand New LP.

I'm thinking that if we don't get a single or announcement by midweek next week... We aren't getting anything before the tour.

 

I have to be in a certain mood to listen to Shone. I can jam to Metal Bones any time though.
