Marvel movies are fun, I find overarching opinions either way to be lame for the most part, either that they're the best thing since sliced bread or that anyone who watches them is an idiot

Ive already seen Kingsmen 2, Guardians 2, The Last Jedi this year

 

You've seen all the movies to be seen from 2017 then

TLJ was pretty good tho!!!

 

I love that TLJ did what it did and pissed people off. I love that stuff really lol.

But personally Im bored of it. I think I just dont care about SW nearly as much anymore. I realized its not going to do things that interest me.

I watch the OT every 2 to 3 years. Ill prob continue to do that. I just like the way things look more than anything. The 2 new trilogies alot less so.

 

Rian Johnson's new trilogy should be good. Hopefully.

 

Yeah everythings gonna be new. I wish that trilogy was now instead of this one, for that reason. Maybe Id care more.

 

I have mixed feelings because I want him to have the opportunity but I'd also be more interested in him doing his own non Star Wars thing

I do think it was a bit subversive and I think its funny personally that alot of people feel burned by it

and Im personally a bit bored by SW right now. I havent liked that this trilogy is tied to the past at all and Im not excited for the stand alones either for the very same reason. The idea of Solo has me zero excited. Thats just me personally.
