odds of this being better than anything blink-182 has put out since 2003: high. heck, odds of it being better than anything blink-182 has ever put out are still pretty high.

@WolvesAreCircling182 what do you think will come from the band in 2018? New album and full blown tour? A small tour and no album? Nothing at all?

 

My guess is writing and studio work. If we were gonna get anything musically from them, it would be late 2018, but spring 2019 seems more likely. I can see a small tour, and some studio updates once they start the recording process around summer/fall but it don’t see it being a busy year or even picking up steam until the fall.


But who knows maybe I’m wrong

 

Depends on Trio too probably. Since Matt said they've been writing songs

 

Yeah I’m guessing that 2018 from January to fall is Trio recording/ releasing an albums and then come fall Blink is heading into studio for a spring/summer release

 

Didn’t Mark say in a couple different interviews they were gonna start at the beginning of the year?

After hearing any solo Travis album I have little hope of it topping Buddah

 

Young Thug didn’t have a song on Travis’ solo album

 

I wasn't a fan of Travis' solo album, and I can't stand Young Thug. The next solo album most likely won't be for me.

 

Not to beat a dead horse any more, but I'd really like a new Alkaline Trio album in 2018 and maybe new Blink next year.

 

Yeah I don’t think I need or want a blink record this year.

I’d rather then take some extended time off from blink (and let Matt go back to Alkaline Trio), get inspired, and write something with meaning in a year or two.

 

I'd like Alkaline Trio to release a new album this year. They've been writing songs so they've already got the ball rolling. After the Alk3 album is done, I'd like Mark and Matt to start writing Blink songs, and then start recording the album by the end of 2018/early 2019.

 

I would like Alkaline Trio back for at least a year and a half and then Blink can come back

 

It'd be funny if Feldmann produced.

 

I mean if Fat Mike is working with Feldmann it's not even that far fetched anymore
