AC origins is tempting me

 

AC Origins is easily the best AC

 

But after playing this and Shadow of War after Nioh I wish more games had stamina gauge. As fun as it is to easily kill 10 guys easily it's not realistic at all lol.

 

I think older AC games didn't age that well because Ubisoft is great at iteration, so I'd personally go Syndicate > Origins > Rest. I like "City AC" over "Larger World AC" (3, 4, Origins) so I prefer Syndicate because of that, plus I don't like the leveling in Origins (though combat is much better now), but both are great and the high points of the two types of AC games imo.

 

I can agree with this. Syndicate is definitely my favourite even though I can see why Origins is "better" in a lot of ways.

 

I think any of the old ones other than Syndicate and Black Flag have aged badly

 

Better in some, worse in others. I really think it sort of balances out and what's left is mostly personal preference with regards to setting and gameplay loops, haha.

 

I can't tell what I enjoy more, the fact that he comments on how people act while drunk or the fact that he left 2 titles without any explanation

 

"Super masterpiece" is a good description of Horizon. I also love that he didn't play Inside yet but he's just like fuck it, I know it's great, haha

 

I like to listen to podcast while playing Stardew Valley, it’s so comforting

 

haha i have a poster of syndicate, and i read the prequel novel 'Underworld'. i just feel so attached to the music (stood out more than any other AC game for sure), the setting, and the Frye twins as characters.
