iOS has low power mode as well too which I'm assuming is equivalent to the android battery saver

 

Just got a Watch Series 3 to replace my Series 0. I can already tell that it's much faster! Hoping battery life is also better.

 

it's ridiculous. i made the same jump. the difference in battery life and speed is out of this world. congrats!

People (particularly certain sections of the media) are desperate for anything they can use to hang shit on Apple. So much of public discourse these days is waiting for people to make mistakes/fail so we can dive all over it and indulge in schadenfeude or say I told you so. We’re all so conditioned towards negativity.

 

I have a 6S and I'm still on iOS10 because once an uodate crippled my 4S and I don't want it to happen again. Now that iOS11 has been out for a while, anyone here with a 6S that can tell me if it's safe to update to 11?

 

replace the battery next year and then update is my advice

iOS 11 performs largely the same as iOS 10.

 

I got a new battery a year ago because my 6S was one of those with a broken battery. Would you still recommend getting a new one?

Ive always wanted an iwatch so badly, but have an android phone. I like the androids much better phone wise. But have had macbooks for the past decade. Wish the iwatch would work with a macbook for the fitness tracking. or atleast an ipod.

I thought 50 for the 8Plus Apple Leather one was beyond ridiculous.

 

i can't imagine spending more than ~20-25 on a case, and i don't think I've ever spent more than 10-15

 

At this point of day my old watch would be at 70% battery. My S3 is at 96% right now.

 

Thats why i was mad at reviews saying the battery isnt good on the S3. I got 3 days without charging. Thats great for me.

Do you have to have family sharing for the Apple Music family plan? I want to do it but I don’t like family sharing.

 

Heard bad things about those, with regards to the folio case causing problems with the microphone when making a call.

 

That's ridiculous if true. For $99 it better dial the number and have the conversation for me.
