oh my god, I'm back on my bullshit Prestigious

The recent Wolfensteins and Doom are the only FPSs that I've enjoyed in recent years. Every other one is boring af.

That's my hot take. Come at me.

I think I'm in a great position to give recommendations like this because lately what I've been looking for in a lot of games is a nice gameplay loop to keep me occupied while I listen to podcasts lmao. Mafia 3 is also good for that.

Most single player FPS games/campaigns are boring to me. There's just something about FPS games that only makes me like them as multiplayer games, with very few exceptions. Can't put my finger on it.

In high school all my friends were like pro level at FPS games (a couple on major teams or whatever, I don't know anything about that aspect) so any time we played together I'd always be the weak link and that made me shy away from them, recently I've discovered I can enjoy them again haha

I think that's why I like only Wolfenstein and Doom. I like A good single player. Online bores me to death.

Persona 5 was fun-ish but I got bored of it after about 20/25 hours. I just don't have the time to sink into long ass games like that and I find then hard to go back to.

Jumped back into Yakuza 0 thought and it's like I never left. Really like that game.

I definitely enjoy single player fps, even the bad ones I tend to have a good time with, never hated a purchase I've made of a COD game though I haven't bought one in awhile. I think I just like that sort of shooting gallery style of game. Doom and Wolfenstein are on a whole different level though.

I'm really really shitty at FPS games so I prefer single player or shared world games. I do like multiplayer FPS's but there's only so far I can go because I'm a limited player and that eventually puts me off them

    Fun must be always. Prestigious

I think I knocked out like 10-15 side quests in the miscellaneous quest lines and I still have another 20-30 left.

    Sighhhh.

Oh man there's few things I like more than spreading anarchay on hardcore servers in Battlefield lmao "I'm placing the C4" - Boom - Black Screen - "You Have Been Booted For Excessive Team Killing"

I think the last FPS campaign I really enjoyed was Bad Company 2. I liked some others at first but fell off at some point, including Wolfenstein. Destiny is an exception but that's kind of different. I just like the loop of a fun multiplayer FPS game, though I'm very picky. I usually love Battlefield, Halo is fun at times, the rest I don't much care for. I liked PVP in Destiny 1 a lot, but again that's kind of different.

Third person shooter campaigns I do like more regularly, though they have become less frequent. I also like TPS multiplayer though.

I do prefer first person games like Prey and Dishonoured more than straight FPS games

I finished the story of AC Origins by the way, not sure I like how it ended but whatever. Now that I finally finished the story I actually really enjoy going through the remaining side quests. That world feels so alive. It makes me want to buy a fancy new TV.

Thank you for saying "no cultural relativism". We're harming minorities outside of the West and being ironically orientalist by pursuing cultural relative narratives. Essentially, we're saying progressivism outside of the West is not normal, and thus is OK to tolerate conservative and bigoted ideals across MENA and Asia. It makes me infuriated as a MENA minority + woman. We silence people trying to better their own communities and countries, and that's the opposite of what we should be doing. Racists will always find a way to attack people of other backgrounds and cultures, and they will be empowered whether we discuss these things or not. And it's better to do the former to improve society, than to do the latter and halt progress, thus empowering the right-wing of these regions instead.
