I started Nier last night.... this game is so bad visually.

 

I like where this is going

the first or Automata?

 

Is it finally my time to shine with hot takes?

 

Automata. I get the backgrounds are supposed to be bland and all that but the textures are really poor regardless... even the character models aren't so hot outside some of the main characters.

I know its low budget, I guess I didn't realize how low budget it was.

 

Some of us should link up and make a list of allegedly good games that are actually bad :D

I adore Nier Automata but let’s get real it’s an upscaled PS3 game on a good day

 

I won't ever nitpick at graphics unless it renders the game/features of the game unplayable, graphics are just a bonus to me in general

But I get it because soundtrack is so important to me so I guess it's kinda the same thing

 

one of the worst things in life has to be that Sony has a game called nier and nioh

how the hell am I supposed to remember which is which

 

Is the first Nier worth playing?

 

Nier is about sad robots.

Nioh is feudal dark souls.

 

Nier and Nioh are very different lol. I've never got confused.

 

i don't know how to do a hot take, all of my opinions are good and correct

 

started the best music category of GB stuff.

 

I've been playing it a bit and while I'm very interested in what's going on, it's kinda a drag to play. Automata is much smoother.

 

However the soundtrack to the first NieR is GORGEOUS, makes me wish the game itself was more fun

 

Nier and Nioh aren't Sony games, it's not their fault lmao

 

I told a friend to buy Nier guess what happened

 

God was looking out for him and he bought Nioh

 

I'm convinced that Yoko Taro killed @The Lucky Moose 's parents

 

I'm gonna blame Sony anyway because I'm a haterz
