New Day is still pretty over but I'd still love to see them switch things up, been 2.5 years almost I think?
They can stay together but do singles stuff but the whole thing is going to get stale sooner than later.

 

Agreed. The freebird reign of New Day has run its course. I'd even be cool with just one of them (probably Big E) going after a singles title, and the other two remaining a tag team. Start treating New Day like more of a small faction than just a tag team.

 

Hideo debuted a new finisher last night (a submission). Wonder if they did that for the sake of variety or if they're hesitant on the GTS now because of Kendrick's injury. Seems like a rushed decision if its the latter.

It's such a shame, too. Came in pretty hot in NXT as a huge signing and then had a nice WM moment by earning a spot in the Andre Battle Royal. Everything since then has been a mess, mostly due to unfortunate injuries.

 

Shinsuke didn't help him either.

just watched smackdown. im really really really really into SD now. All of the belts are on the right people...all of the people are where they should be.. there's a great mixture of story line, wrestling, intrigue, comedy. The womens division is the worst its been in years...but other than that it's amazing.

AJ vs Owens for the WWE TITLE! Yes...this is what it should've been from the beginning. Jinder going after the US belt! YES.. i'm totally okay with that. It's what it should've been from the beginning. Rusev day massively over. Shane/DB angle super solid.

I will also concur and think its time to do different things with New Day. I was even suggesting Big E be in the US tournament and be in the finals with Jinder.

 

Not sure if Zane or Meltzer, but i think someone mentioned a few weeks ago that New Day have been repeating that they will never break up in promos recently and that is totally a hint at them breaking up soon.

 

see i dont think they have to break up...persay...at least not right away.. if they did something like give Big E the US title. I think New Day could be hella supportive and then slowly but surely Xavier can get jealous and boom.

but that's one of those angles they shuold really think through. breaking up the new day is a BIG deal

 

Feels like New Day has to get a big mania win at some point before they break up
