Valverde is a class manager. Was very surprised reading Barca fans on other forums vehemently didn't want him.

I'll stop posting about this in like three minutes, promise, but it's hilarious that a Barcelona team consistently relying upon North London Derby rejects Vermaelen and Paulinho AND can't-make-Everton's-bench Deulefeu is undefeated in all competitions, including games at both Madrids and Juventus.

Also Messi has scored more goals at the Bernebeu in El Clasico than any Real Madrid player. Mental.

I would love to have a legit #10 DP so Molino doesn't have to play there. I don't really care where from, but one of those young, speedy guys from South America will do just fine. The thing about the Loons is that every trade or signing they make tends to have the lid kept on it until late into the signing process, so by the time we even hear about a signing, chances are it's a done deal. It's good for the heart sometimes as to not getting my hopes up, but it can be incredibly boring when nothing is happening.

Messi lost his right boot when Marcelo tried to tackle him and he proceeded to go ahead and assist on the third goal less than ten seconds later. I love that man.

How does Alli get away with that shit every game?

Fed up of spineless, useless players not being arsed or too scared to make the effort to tackle. Fed up of being shot shy even when inside the oppositions box. Fed up of defenders playing like they’ve never met each other.

We’re sleep walking towards relegation. Everyone can see we’re shit except for the chairman who’s not willing to make a change.

Good to Alli still diving around.

  10. No yellow for Mee?

  11. The most Sissoko thing ever

  12. That first save was great though. Give the keeper credit.

  13. Both Dele decisions were fine (though I wouldn't have been up-in-arms over a red for the bad challenge, it was orange territory for me)

We really needed Sissoko to not be Sissoko on that break (this used to mean "horrible everywhere on the pitch" but has improved this season to only mean "completely incapable of scoring but still useful". Progress)

I know longer recall a time when any of our four fullbacks played well.

  14. This could so easily be a three or four nil statement game right now. Truly amazing how inept we've been in front of goal.

  15. Another hat trick for Kane :)

  16. Kane has now tied Shearer for most PL goals in a calendar year. He also is only one goal behind Messi for most goals in all comps for 2017. I smell another hat trick coming.

  17. That was extremely entertaining

The fact that we’re second is a pretty big indicator towards how bad everyone is, bar City.

  19. I don’t know it’s been a pretty competitive and entertaining season.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Yeah, I'd say it's more that everyone bar City have very competitive teams and so are taking points off each other. City have just found another level.

The champions league will be an interesting measure of the English teams.

Our 2-1 defeat to Middlesbrough yesterday was such a shit game that both managers got the sack for it.

Feeling slightly more upbeat now. New start for Wednesday and United have dropped out of the play offs.

    Merry Christmas to you all.

Had a quickly thrown together a team. 3-4-1-2 formation, because why not.

de Gea; Alderweireld, Stones, Maguire; Salah, Matic, D Silva, De Bruyne, Ozil; Sterling, Kane.

Haven't put much thought into it though. But tbh you could just pick City's current team.
